We collect as little as we can, keep it safe, and never sell it. This page explains what Ampuflyer does with your information.
What we collect
Only what you give us in our forms: for example your name, email, country, and, if you ask for peer support, some details about your amputation. Health details are sensitive, so we only ask for what helps us match you with the right mentor, and every health question is optional.
How we use it
- To answer your message or request.
- To match you with a peer mentor, who will see your first name, country and the situation you described.
- To publish your story, only after you give permission.
- To send our newsletter, only if you sign up.
- To record donations and thank you.
Payments
Donations are processed by PayPal, Stripe or your bank. We never see or store your card details. These providers have their own privacy policies.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep forms secure and remember your language. Your text size choice is saved in your own browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and our fonts are hosted on our own server.
Who can see your information
Only our small team of administrators, and the mentor you are matched with. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as it is useful for the reason you gave it, and delete peer support requests within two years of the last contact unless you ask us to keep them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time. Email us at lifetimeviewership@gmail.com. If you live in the European Union or UK, you also have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian to fill in forms with you.
